Sooriya Resort & Spa, Tangalle

The resort features stunning sea views and spacious rooms, making it a relaxing getaway. The staff is exceptional, providing great service throughout our stay. Unfortunately, the facilities are aging, leading to some disappointments, and the Wi-Fi issues were bothersome. Overall, it's a decent place, but not ideal for those expecting modern amenities.

I had a wonderful stay at this resort, with breathtaking views and a truly calming atmosphere. The rooms were spacious and clean, though a bit noisy at times due to the wind. The culinary experiences were phenomenal, and the pool area was inviting. The only downside was the road to the hotel was quite challenging to navigate, and the beach access could use some improvement. Overall, it's a tranquil getaway.

I had a delightful Valentine's Day stay at Sooriya Resort and Spa. The serene location complemented by friendly staff made for a wonderful experience. The staff, especially Mr. Janith from sales and marketing, made us feel welcomed, while the dining experience surpassed expectations with excellent meal satisfaction checks. However, I did notice some minor inconveniences, such as the road leading to the hotel being non-tarmacked, but it didn't overshadow the overall visit.

My experience at this hotel was quite disappointing. The location is somewhat isolated, which can be nice for peace but makes it hard to get to other places. While the ocean views from my room were stunning, the gym facilities were in terrible shape, and the customer service was lacking. The hotel seemed worn out and in need of an upgrade. Unfortunately, I wouldn't recommend staying here based on my visit.
